In the past 15 years, secular studies have become an autonomous field of interdisciplinary scholarship. As humanists, seculars and the indifferent constitute an expanding group in society, understanding them and their ambitions and needs, becomes increasingly important.

Lead by jurists and historians of the University Saint-Louis – Bruxelles, the C@hiers du CRHiDI. Histoire, droit, institutions, société are a scientific peer-reviewed journal published in open access. Its vocation can be found in transperiodical perspective and a tendency to explore interdisciplinary interactions between law, institutions, and society.
